Greek Goddess of the underworld and goddess of spring and rebirth. After Hades abducted her she became Queen of the underworld. While with Hades she ate seven pomegranate seeds. Her exit from the underworld heralds the beginning of Spring, and her return marks the start of winter.

VESTA
Roman Goddess, Guardian of the sacred Flame. Vesta’s presence was symbolized by the eternal sacred Flame burning in the Forum in Rome. It was tended by up to six Vestal Virgins. These virgins were chosen from the daughters of the ruling classes. They were inspected as young girls to ensure they were healthy and had no physical defects. The Vestal Virgins were expected to serve in the temple for thirty years.
A “knotty” combination of brass chain, grade “A” Carnelian and recycled metals. A palette that reflects the burnished colours of fall. It’s the perfect complement to the long sweaters and tunics that the increasingly cooler weather calls for. Length is 48″.
